Rental Information
Zichron Mordechai's 1st floor (ground level) is available for private events such as bris, l'chaim, aufruf, sheva brachot, family parties, private meetings.

1) Capacity (with or without serving tables) is 50 seated; 100 standing.
2) Rental fee
Members and nonprofit organizations: $300. ($550 for Shabbos dinner and lunch.)
Non-members: $400 ($750 for Shabbos dinner and lunch)
Parking lot: $150 extra (does not include a tent)
Public events: fees can be obtained by emailing zmteaneck@gmail.com
3) Cleaning fee
The shul is professionally cleaned once per week. If your event is on Shabbos, there is no cleaning fee.
If your event is not on Shabbos, there is a $120 cleaning fee.
4) No custodial services: The shul does not have a custodian on premises. You or your caterer are responsible for set-up, leaving the room broom-clean,
and taking garbage bags [half-filled please] to the pales outside the shul.
5) The kitchen is available to any caterer under recognized orthodox supervision (e.g., RCBC, Kaf-K, or OU). If you want to bring in home-prepared food, Rabbi Taubes requires that we lock the kitchen. If waiters are used, you or your caterer must provide a mashgiach. We have a refrigerator and hot plates in the basement that you may use for home-prepared food.
6) The shul provides rectangular tables (96"x36" and 72"x36") and chairs, garbage bags and cleaning supplies.
7) Payment of rental and cleaning fees must be received at least one week before the event using the "Donate" tab at the top of the screen.
Select "Rental of Shul" from the drop-down list.
Alternatively you may write a check payable to Congregation Zichron Mordechai and mail it to 268 W. Englewood Ave, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
Write "Rental of Shul" on the check.
